Sewer Scope Inspections

In addition to a general home inspection, a sewer scope inspection can be added to check for issues with the home’s sewer system. AmeriSpec Home Inspection Services of Bloomington partnered with Sewer Crawlers in 2021 to conduct our sewer inspections.

The non-intrusive inspection uses a camera to examine the sewer line to identify blockages, leaks, cracks and breaks. Based on the findings, Sewer Crawlers inspectors provide recommendations for repairs, maintenance or upgrades to the sewer system. They may suggest cleaning techniques, pipe relining or replacement of damaged sections to ensure optimal functionality.

Each inspection includes a written report and narrated video of the scope. Sewer scope inspections are scheduled through our office and typically happen at the same time as the home inspection.
